Cosmetic Chemist

Our team of Global Innovation & Research department is seeking a skilled cosmetic chemist with a passion for creating cutting-edge personal care products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining cosmetic formulations, collaborating closely with our Keune Beauty Solutions Customers (KBS), and ensuring high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetic chemistry, excellent project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional products tailored to meet the unique needs and visions of our partners.

MISSION

• Develop new or improved cosmetic formulations based on research, market trends and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to evaluate the performance and stability of cosmetic formulations.
• Innovate new product concepts and improve existing formulations to meet market demands and customer needs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of formulations and products.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up production and launch products.
• Proactively propose initiatives to improve products including performance and sustainability.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the cosmetic industry.

YOU

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and development
• Proven track record of product launches
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines effectively
• Creative and innovative mindset, passionate about scientific communication
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands
