Policy Analyst/Consultant

Technopolis is looking for a Policy Analyst/Consultant for our Amsterdam office.

Your profile

• Do you have 0–5 years of work experience and an interest in policy, technology, innovation, and one of our thematic domains?
• Have you completed a master’s degree and possess strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods?
• Do you have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English?
• Are you a team player with a critical mind who gets excited by challenging and diverse projects?
• Do you have a keen eye for quality, deadlines, and budgets?

• We offer a position of 32–40 hours per week, initially for one year, with the prospect of a permanent contract.

As a Policy Analyst/Consultant, you contribute to addressing societal challenges within our thematic domains, including science, innovation and entrepreneurship, higher education, the green economy, the digital economy, health and life sciences, regional policy, and international cooperation.

Your responsibilities

• At Technopolis Amsterdam, you work on research and consultancy projects for governments in the Netherlands and across Europe, while also contributing to the acquisition of new projects.
• You help address societal challenges through evidence-based research across a variety of fields.
• Within a dynamic, client-focused environment, you tackle current issues related to science, technology, and innovation.
• You will have the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly, pursue your interests, and develop professionally as a researcher and policy advisor.
