Demcon high-tech systems is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization, in the field of high-tech systems.

What are you going to do?

As a Mechanical Engineer at Demcon, you will work on projects for high-tech clients (e.g., in the semiconductor industry or in the quantum field). You will often work with micron precision; attention to detail is important. In multidisciplinary teams, together with colleagues you will develop new concepts from a blank sheet to a working prototype. You will work and learn alongside senior engineers to come up with pragmatic solutions. Within your team you will also provide guidance to junior engineers.

You will work on mechanical design within your projects. You will start by analyzing the established specifications. In the subsequent concept phase, you will come up with a concept design by performing calculations, analyses, and tests. You will deal with precision mechanics, tolerance analysis, vacuum applications and design principles on a daily basis. You will then work out the detailed design, create drawings, and participate in the realization and verification phase. In all these activities, consultation within your project team is important to achieve a great joint result.

What do you bring to the table?

• You have obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or Materials Science;
• You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in mechanical engineering and experience with 3D CAD;
• You show proactive behavior, have strong communication skills and are a real team player
