About the role:

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the cloud technology space? As Senior Manager Cloud and Connectivity at Versuni, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing our cloud-native technology platform. You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external partners to develop and maintain cutting-edge products and services that support our platform needs and enable Versuni’s AI capabilities.

This role thrives at the intersection of technology and people. You’ll be just as focused on building strong relationships as you are on building robust architectures. Working alongside the Platform Lead and Product Owner Connectivity, you’ll define strategy, architecture, guardrails, and standards—ensuring alignment with our company’s overall goals.

You’ll bring deep experience in cloud infrastructure design, automation, and security, with hands-on expertise in platforms like AWS (preferred) and Azure. Your understanding of network concepts and security protocols, including Zero Trust principles, will be essential. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with the latest cloud technologies and drive innovation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Translating complex technical detail into clear, simple language for engineers, business partners, and leadership.
• Promoting best practices and driving quality, continuously benchmarking against industry standards and trends.
• Planning and coordinating the implementation of technology roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across departments.
• Overseeing the development of scalable and secure end-to-end capabilities to support both business and technology platforms.

You’ll also foster a culture of mentoring and knowledge-sharing, creating an environment where others can grow. Above all, you’ll act as a connector—bringing people together to co-create solutions and aligning diverse stakeholders around a common vision.

The impact you’ll make:

• Innovate: Conceptualize approaches to resolve emerging and future needs based on technology trends following an innovation strategy direction.
• Improve: Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure we deliver value to our business stakeholders with a strong improvement mindset.
• Analyse: Conduct cross-industry analysis to define new tech opportunities, including market research data analysis, partner research, future trend reports, etc.
• Evaluate: Build proof of value and test concepts together with partners, evaluating performance and cost to select the best fit.
• Collaborate: Foster collaboration by planning and coordinating the implementation of technology roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration between various departments and our partner landscape.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Education: Advanced degree (MSc) in a tech field of expertise. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred) or similar.
• Knowledge: Expertise in cloud and networking, relevant frameworks, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks and Zero Trust security principles.
• Experience: Proven expertise in the related tech field with 5+ years in the technology space, working with cross-functional teams and experience in managing third-party tech partnerships. Experience in deploying infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Skills: Strategic thinking with strong communication skills, proficiency in design thinking and agile frameworks, and analytical skills.
