Do you follow a (pre-)Master's in the academic year 2025-2026 at Radboud University? Would you like to make a significant contribution to resolving social issues? Would you like to work on your leadership qualities and professional skills? And do all that in a multidisciplinary team of motivated fellow students?
If so, the interdisciplinary Honours Programme Project Impact offers a unique opportunity! You'll be thinking up solutions in small groups, with intensive supervision, for present-day problems such as mental health, the vitality of democracy, or the liveability of our planet.
Throughout the programme, you'll be a part of an interdisciplinary team of no more than 10 students, supervised by two lecturers. Each team will work on a socially relevant issue for an external client. You decide as a team how you want to approach the project. During the project, you work towards a relevant end product. Specific prior knowledge of the theme is not necessary.
What does the Project Impact programme offer you?
Facts & figures
This coming year (2025 - 2026), you can choose from six different interdisciplinary projects.
All teams start with a kick-off weekend in October. During this weekend, you will get to know your fellow students, supervisors and the assignment(s). After the kick-off weekend, your team will have weekly meetings, on a set evening of the week. The supervising teachers monitor the project and attend the meeting once every three weeks.
The honours programme Project Impact is here for you! We will help you achieve your goals and match your interests as closely as possible. During the year we will regularly discuss your progress with you. The focus is on your own learning goals, your personal development and the progress of the project.
Project Impact prepares you for your future career. You learn to collaborate, and also reflect extensively on the contribution you can make to a team. Moreover, you follow a series of personal leadership workshops, in which you learn how to create support for your own ideas within an organization; how you deal with conflict; and how you build a network within and outside your own organization.
For the project you will go on a four-day study trip abroad. This will put the issue in an international comparative perspective, and you will work on team building. In consultation with the supervisors, you decide on the location and the content of the programme.
Project Impact is open to (pre-)Master's students of all study programmes at Radboud University. If you are motivated and prepared to commit to a challenging programme in addition to your regular study, we'll be happy to receive your application! The application deadline is Monday 22 September 2025.
