Let's meet the BSI

Welcome to the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) Introduction Meeting

Have you started your contract as a researcher or in a research position at the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI) last year, and is it (still) a challenge for you to find the right person or committee to contact for specific questions, and to know where to find them at the BSI?

To assist you with this, we would like to invite you to the Let’s Meet the BSI information session.

Date: 25 September

Time: 9.30 - 10.30

Location: Maria Montessori building, room MM 01.630.

This meeting is organised for new BSI researchers (PhDs, Postdocs, research assistants, etc.) who started between October 2024 and now to learn more about our team, our procedures & committees and the activities we organise. You will meet BSI colleagues who are important for you in the first 6-12 months:

• The BSI Management team (Debby Beckers, Julie Krans & Sander Berends)
• BSI Office (Diana de Ruiter & Sonia Burgos de Macedo Alves)
• Graduate School director & coordinator (Hanneke Hendriks & Meta van den Eng)
• BSI Lab & Lab Committee (Anna Aumeistere)
• Data Officer & local Privacy Coordinator (Rob Gommans)
• Ethics Committee Social Sciences (ECSS) (Gero Lange - not confirmed yet)
• Scientific Rigour Group/Open Science (Anita Eerland)
• Science Committee (Gijs Bijlstra)
• PhD Platform (Sanyogita Khare & Boran Polat)
• Assistant professor & postdoc Platform (Evelien Heijselaar)

Each group or committee will briefly introduce itself in an informal 8-minute presentation/talk, and then you will have the opportunity to ask them questions.
