Supply Chain Specialist | Amsterdam | Fulltime

Since 2012, Veloretti has been designing stylish, functional bicycles from the heart of Amsterdam. What began with a clear mission—to make timeless design accessible—has grown into a familiar sight on the streets of cities all across Europe.

Our collection now includes electric models, city bikes, and children's bikes for all ages. At Veloretti, we believe in simplicity, innovation, and the power of good design. For us, cycling is more than just transportation; it’s a lifestyle. Since 2022, we have been part of Pon.Bike, the leading family of bicycle brands worldwide. This gives us the space to further develop: our products, our community, and our voice in the world.

The role in a nutshell

As a Supply Chain Specialist at Veloretti, you play a crucial role in the smooth running of our business processes. You ensure that our master data is impeccable, which is essential for everything we do – from purchasing to sales. Additionally, you are actively involved in the entire purchasing process and the management of our inventories, ensuring that our iconic bikes and parts are always available and flow efficiently through our supply chain.

Your place in the Veloretti team

You will report directly to the Demand & Supply Manager. Within Veloretti, you will work closely with various teams, such as the Brandstore, Retail, Customer Care, and our warehouse in Almelo. You will also maintain external contact with our key (international) outsourcing partners and suppliers.

What will you be doing?

Your role is a dynamic mix of operational execution, project management, and data governance. You will be the central point for ensuring our products are available and our data is flawless.

1. Purchasing & Inventory Management

You ensure our iconic bikes and parts are always in stock by managing the entire purchasing cycle from PO to delivery.

  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs) from creation to final processing, including supplier communication and Three-Way Match checks.
  • Oversee inventory levels by proactively managing re-ordering settings, backorders, and stock for our 3PL, Brandstore, and external warehouses (e.g., Bol.com).
  • Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure product data accuracy.

2. Operational Efficiency & Projects

You are a key player in making our supply chain smarter and more efficient by leading and contributing to crucial projects.

  • Drive process improvements by analyzing return data and initiating projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead high-impact projects, such as the transition of ~1,000 SKUs to the Pon.Bike standard and warehouse optimization initiatives.
  • Enhance our planning process by contributing to S&OP projects to improve product availability.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively across all departments (Retail, Customer Care, Warehouse) and with external partners to ensure smooth collaboration.

3. Master Data Management

As our data guru, you are the owner of our master data in Odoo, ensuring its accuracy is the foundation of our success.

  • Govern all master data, including the creation and validation of crucial information like:
    • Country of Origin (COO) & HS Codes
    • Supplier codes, pricing, MOQ, and lead times
  • Solve data challenges, from fixing inconsistencies to setting up new data flows between systems like Odoo and Shopify.
  • Ensure data quality by identifying and managing the lifecycle of all SKUs.

What we’re looking for

  • A higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably in a commercial, logistics, or business administration field.
  • Demonstrable experience with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a definite plus).
  • Experience with master data management and purchasing processes.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with HS codes and customs import processes is a plus.
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.

About Team Veloretti

We’re a down-to-earth team of open-minded individuals, working together in an informal and inclusive setting. Our culture is accessible and egalitarian – every voice is heard, and every contribution matters. What connects us is a shared sense of pride: we’re building a brand that reimagines the way we move.

What do we offer you?

At Veloretti, you contribute to a brand that is becoming increasingly visible on the streetscape—and increasingly recognizable in its voice. You will be part of a growing, international team where ideas are taken seriously and there is room to learn—from successes as well as from the process. Naturally, we offer a competitive salary, 8% vacation pay, and 25 vacation days on a full-time basis. But more importantly, you contribute to something that moves. Not only in what we create but also in how we collaborate. You think along, grow together, and contribute—even beyond the boundaries of your role.

What you can expect from us:

  • A competitive salary.
  • 8% vacation allowance.
  • 25 vacation days.
  • A pension plan.
  • A training budget.
  • A Veloretti (e-)bike.
  • A work laptop.
  • Healthy lunch at the office, for a small contribution.

Is this something for you?

Are you excited? Great! Let us know who you are and apply with your resume and a short cover letter. Don’t be too formal; we are curious about you. We look forward to your response.
