The Product Owner (PO) for Privileged Access Management (PAM) is a challenging position in a dynamic and diverse international environment with operations on different locations and direct strategical impact on the achievement of ASML’s (strategic) business objectives.

Whether it is employees, suppliers, customers, partners, or even non-human entities like devices, applications, robots, and workloads — each possesses a distinct set of attributes that define and connect their unique identity to their digital presence. As a PAM Product Owner, ensuring secure, policy-driven access to critical systems based on these identities is essential to safeguarding the enterprise.
The Product Owner PAM is held responsible for ASML’s global Privileged Access Management service. This service consists of generic core privileged access management services like password management, session management and secrets management. Next to that, third party privileged access management with business partners, suppliers and customers is also part of this domain. Daily, the Product Owner PAM acts as servant leader for the team.
As Product Owner you will maximize the value creation by the AM teams. You are a key player in a multidisciplinary environment that further develops the current and next generation Identity and Access management solutions and services. A grasp of your responsibilities in this position:
Digital identity is at the base of the implementation of any digital system that ASML uses to collaborate in a highly complex ecosystem. Considering the current and projected growth of ASML and its growing importance and attention on a global scale, it is essential to accelerate digital transformation, prevent cyber-attacks, simplify digital processes, increase the security levels of transactions and improve the user experience.
The Identity and Access Management Agile Release Train (IAM ART) consists of 5 domains (Access Management, Identity Governance & Administration, Privileged Access Management, Directories and Cryptography). Each domain consists of approximately 2 teams, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner. The Product Owners functionally report to the Chief Product Owner.
The Product Owner PAM reports into the Security Office within Risk & Business Assurance (RBA), directly to the Head of Expertise Center Digital Identity.

In a PO position you are naturally able to balance the different stakeholders within the ASML domains. With your Agile/SAFe mindset you are easily able to manage and lead the teams and have the ability to make the right calls where needed.
