We are looking for a talented and suitably experienced person to join us as an E-Sourcing Specialist based in our offices in Amsterdam. This pivotal role will be responsible for a variety of topics in the E-Sourcing workspace for the region Europe and Asia. The E-Sourcing Specialist will work with various Procurement teams across Europe and Asia as well as various regional category teams to support the preparation, execution, evaluation and awarding of E-Sourcing projects. As part of CRH’s Procurement Excellence organization this role contributes to the implementation of harmonized standard procurement processes for the group that are in alignment with the regional procurement organizations to enable efficiencies, effective controls and company-wide processes optimization and improvements.

You will be tasked with establishing and maintaining relations with other procurement functions as well as educating colleagues in the use of the processes and systems to enable all levels of procurement to work transparently, efficiently and effectively. The role will report directly to the Regional Head of Procurement Excellence and dotted line to the Source to Contract Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage E-Sourcing events across multiple categories and regions.
• Collaborate with category managers and operational teams to ensure effective sourcing execution.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for users.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes and tools.
• Analyze event outcomes and support decision-making with data.

Key Functional Competencies:

• Proficient in SAP Ariba and/or Coupa CSO
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Ability to travel on a quarterly basis

Experience/Education:

• 2 to 4 years’ professional experience in Procurement or Sourcing
• Experience in international environments is a plus
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset
