Job description

The Associate Manager, Compensation – EMEA, Canada and Latin America takes responsibility for managing day to day compensation activities and providing timely and accurate expert advice relating to all aspects of remuneration according to the policies in place.

What you will do:

  • Under the guidance of the reporting manager, lead the annual compensation events including and not limited to benchmarking, salary planning, salary review and equity assessments
  • Analyze current local compensation practices and harmonize
  • Support all regional / country initiatives across all reward related activities
  • Lead compensation topics for integration activities in specific areas of the business
  • Participate in HR projects where compensation is involved
  • Support grading following global grading guidelines
  • Participate in strategy sessions with/regarding works councils/ unions around compensation elements
  • Perform as a champion of Compensation & Benefits tools and processes
  • Deliver high quality analytics for leadership teams
  • Implement new tools, systems and process across specific parts of the business from a compensation perspective
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of compensation programs and ensuring high levels of delivery and collaboration
  • Actively contribute to broader HR Teams as a Compensation Business Partner and provide expert solutions where Reward is involved
  • Partner with Benefits team on projects and benchmarking processes
  • Establish the overall SIC process design and workflow management; establish a constant improvement mindset
  • Support division driven design projects to create new incentive compensation plans according to business strategy
  • Plan and lead the implementation of new sales comp plans for divisions in the regions
  • Support sales compensation projects for across the regions

What you need:

Required:

  • University degree in Human Resources, or equivalent field
  • 5-7 years’ broad experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in an international environment
  • Good knowledge of Compensation and Benefits basic principles and practices
  • Good knowledge of Sales Compensation principles and practices
  • Experience of Change Management
  • Experience in Designing, Maintaining and Coordinating Sales Incentive Compensation plans
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and advanced MS Excel experience

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of other European languages an asset any other European language
  • Power BI knowledge
  • Experience in Works Council negotiation is beneficial
