What are you going to do?
As a Frontend Developer within the Generics Tribe at Nedap Healthcare, you work on generic tooling, components, and frameworks that accelerate the work of over 200 colleagues. You help build the foundation on which our teams develop new functionality in the Ons® Suite.
You’ll work with technologies like Web Components, LIT, TypeScript, Vite, Vue 3, Pinia, and Storybook. We believe in an open source mindset and actively share knowledge and tools across teams.
Your responsibilities
Developing tooling: You build generic tooling used daily by frontend developers throughout the Healthcare business unit;
Creating frameworks: You contribute to a reusable component framework and a design token library in collaboration with UX;
Safeguarding quality: You help define and maintain standards, versioning, CI/CD, and frontend security;
Collaboration: You work closely with various teams and stakeholders within Healthcare and across Nedap;
Open contribution: You work in an open, transparent development process, where feedback and knowledge sharing are key;
Shaping architecture: You actively contribute to the future of frontend architecture and micro-frontends within the Ons Suite.
Your team
As a Frontend Developer, you are part of the Unify Ons Framework team, which is part of the Generics Tribe at Nedap Healthcare. Together with developers, UX designers and product managers, we create generic solutions that are scalable, reusable, and future-proof. We work hybrid: partly from our Groenlo campus, partly remotely. And there’s plenty of room for fun, drinks, and team activities.
Our offer
As a Frontend Developer at Nedap, you will make a meaningful contribution to our mission to improve people's well-being and success in their professional lives. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a thirteenth month, an extensive pension plan and profit sharing with the possibility of becoming a Nedap shareholder. At Nedap, we have confidence in our employees and place great value on autonomy, allowing you to determine your own working hours and vacations. We value personal and professional growth and offer a thorough induction program and opportunities for continuous development.
Required experience and skills
As a Frontend Developer, you have a major impact on the success of the Generics Tribe. You are curious, eager to learn, and enjoy working in an agile team. You know your way around the modern web stack and you’re not afraid to challenge assumptions or bring new ideas to the table.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
Experience: You’re an experienced frontend developer (medior+ or senior level);
Web technology: You have a solid understanding of web standards, browser behavior, and JavaScript;
Tooling: You’re familiar with TypeScript, LIT, Vue 3, Pinia, Vite, Storybook or design tokens;
Open source mindset: You’re used to contributing to shared tooling or frameworks;
CI/CD: You’re experienced in setting up build pipelines and versioning for frontend tooling.
