The Department

In a truly exciting multicultural environment talented and ambitious Sales professionals from Europe, Middle East and Africa interact with customers using latest communication technologies in 10 different languages. Our department directly interact with customers on an international level to ensure long term customer satisfaction and repeated business expansion.

Responsibilities

As Inside Sales Representative you will be managing accounts, territories and resources to achieve revenue goals through the sale of Equinix solutions, services and products to existing customers and assigned new prospects. You’ll do this by managing long-term relationships and expand base of business with existing customers but also through successfully prospecting new opportunities via established relationships. The Opportunity development team will be your partner in growing your business so close cooperation will be a daily task.

Another major responsibility will be to work closely with Sales Engineers ensuring customer needs and requirements are met and to guarantee long-term customer satisfaction.

This role reports into the Manager Inside Sales EMEA and will be based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

  • Is able to demonstrate work experience in a fast moving sales environment or inside sales operation with prime and full quota carrying accountability (no overlay).
  • Has experience (preferably) with a leading player in the Telecommunications, Network, Internet or Enterprise software market.
  • Has a winning attitude and a track record of delivering results consistently.
  • Is self-motivated and tenacious with an ability to handle pressure situations, overcome barriers, influence and close successful sales at every level in the customer organization.
  • Has confidence in their communication and influencing skills.
  • Is Solution Selling oriented and has outstanding forecasting skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English and additional Finnish communication skills are essential.
