Your goal

As an AI Engineer at Marktlink, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI within our organization. With the core infrastructure already in place, your focus will be on taking it to the next level. You will have the freedom and responsibility to develop and manage AI applications that deliver real business value, from building AI agents and RAG solutions to creating interactive learning environments and tools that support financial analysis, strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will directly contribute to embedding AI in how we learn, decide and operate across the entire organization. As we are expanding our AI and Data Team, you will be joining our fast-growing, enthusiastic group of modern tech people.

Your responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of the development and operation of our AI platform as an internal Generative AI as a Service (GAAS) solution.
• Building AI agents within Azure, integrated with internal systems.
• Translating business needs into scalable AI solutions in collaboration with various teams.
• Advising on model selection, data security, performance, and maintainability based on use cases.
• Continuously monitoring and improving AI solutions based on usage, feedback, and new insights.
• Contributing to the future structure and growth of the AI team.

Your profile

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial environment.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Azure AI environments, such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Functions.
• You are experienced in Python, API integrations, and developing AI solutions in a cloud environment.
• You are familiar with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and building AI agents.
• You can independently develop and integrate working solutions into business processes.
• You are communicative, proactive, and pragmatic, with the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Fluency in Dutch is required for this role.
