About the job

We’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join our energetic Finance & Business Operations team. You’ll be the backbone of our financial processes, keeping things running smoothly, spotting opportunities for automation, and collaborating across departments to drive smart decisions. This is a role where precision meets purpose. You’ll work with a young and vibrant team and use modern tools to shape the financial foundation of the company.

• Managing bookkeeping, invoice processing, and month-end closing tasks
• Coordinate and execute the financial audit tasks, and preparations for the annual financial reports
• Streamlining workflows and automating tasks in the Fin Controller space, amongst others in Exact Online
• Improving journal-entry flows and financial operations
• Performing financial analyses and developing business cases.
• Supporting the preparation of budgets and monitor budget adherence throughout the year

You will of course not do this alone. You work with your team ánd work together with the CFO, an Executive Master of Finance and Control certified finance professional with c. 10 years of experience. That said, enthusiasm and positive energy will take you a long way.🚀 So, if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply!

The only hard requirements are experience in having worked with the Dutch financial accounting rules & regulations and excellent Dutch language skills due to the nature of the work.

About you

Ideally we are looking for someone with some relevant experience under their belt (2+ years). You are accurate and analytical, know your way around Excel and Exact Online (or comparable). You are a good communicator and most importantly: you identify yourself with SnappCar’s mission and values, and are able to work in a scale-up environment.
