COMMERCIAL TREX RTR GL ACCOUNTANT & TREASURY SPOC

RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial TREX RTR GL Accountant & Treasury SPOC drives the cash forecasting process for the full BNL/AMS (except for Coty BV) scope, reviews and challenges the inputs received from other departments and SSC and is end to end responsible for the payment process.

Your main focus:

• Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for RTR specific TREX related topics in relation with the business, copilots.
• Acts as a facilitator of the end-to-end Month End close (MEC) specific TREX processes ensuring compliance with internal policies, local regulations and US GAAP requirements.
• Partial preparation of Quarterly analytical & reporting packs according with the TREX specifical requirements for SEC reporting. Overall review of the packs.
• Take full ownership of the balance sheet with TREX specific accounts. Identifies and analyze unusual or reconciling items and take appropriate actions to resolve all the accounts including the ones which are moved under SSC scope for reconciliation preparations (90% of the BS). Review balance sheets accounts / specs under control by other parties (e.g., co-pilots, SSC, AR & HR) and align if needed ensure on time follow up and cleaning.
• Prepare the statutory annual accounts according to the local GAAP, translating the TREX specific activities recorded under US GAAP to Dutch Gaap.
• Ad hoc JEs preparations only.
• Ensure smooth external audit process for both US and local GAAP audits. Support in the internal audit process and safeguard on time follow up on the action plans in case of deficiencies within the RTR TREX process.
• Support in the process of the applicable other taxes declaration (Tax department has the end responsibility).

Other than that, you have:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business.
• Financial accountancy experience to a minimum of 6 years.
• Travel Retail and Export experience of minimum 2 years.
• Treasury experience of minimum 1 year.
• Solid and practical working experience of SAP, HFM and Microsoft Office packages.
• Strong Dutch Gaap knowledge.
• Proven track record of leading and coordinating with a BPO/SSC organization.
