Position overview

As a Category Demand Planner BNL, this is your challenge:

As Category Demand Planner BNL you are responsible for creating the sales forecast for the coming 18 months for both Belgium and The Netherlands. You will do this in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Finance, by using historical data, trends and statistical tools. Besides this, you plan and evaluate promotional volumes with the Marketing and Sales departments. You actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and represent Supply Chain.

You are the primary point of contact for the yearly volume planning and will have frequent contact with the Supply Planners. Together with Marketing you coordinate product introductions, product relaunches and delistings. You will join portfolio-optimization projects on a regular basis and every year your input will be used to determine the volume-budget. As a demand planner you are actively contributing to the general business performance.

As Category Demand Planner you are reporting into the Category Supply Chain Co-pilot for the Benelux region.

What will make you successful

  • analytical, results oriented, resilient;
  • adaptable, agile, communicative, excellent team player, able to work autonomously and remotely, with strong negotiation and convincing skills;
  • experience with forecasting methods;
  • experience with / interest in statistical software;
  • minimal 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations; ideally in FMCG;
  • knowledge of SAP (R/3), APO, and Microsoft Power BI would be a plus.
