Who we are

We are an IB continuum school offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). We are a community of around 1100 students and 185 staff members from all over the world. ISU is a member of the Dutch International Schools (DIS), a group of government-subsidised schools providing internationally oriented primary and/or secondary education. As such, ISU is part of two collaborating school boards, SPO Utrecht (primary) and Nuovo Scholen (secondary).

Vacancy

The International School Utrecht is looking to recruit an enthusiastic International Baccalaureate MYP and DP Teacher-Librarian.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science or related field
• Experience with the IB MYP and DP is preferred
• Ability to teach secondary students digital and information literacy
• Ability to teach academic research skills and academic integrity
• Ability to support IB components such as Personal Project, Extended Essay, and various internal assessments
• A teaching qualification is preferred
• A minimum of three years’ secondary librarian experience

ISU offers the complete and connected International Baccalaureate for students from 4-19 from diverse international backgrounds.
