As a Senior Demand Generation Manager at Backbase, you'll be the force behind our pipeline growth, transforming strategic content into high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that fuel our revenue engine. You will play a pivotal role in creating and capturing demand, ensuring our digital marketing initiatives are seamlessly executed and consistently optimized to generate qualified opportunities for our sales teams. This is for someone who has a bias for action and loves to raise the bar, constantly seeking improvement and driving measurable business impact.

What you'll do

This role is for a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done. You'll operate with a "Start with the Why" mentality, ensuring every campaign is purposeful and drives real customer success. You will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with Backbase's ambitious revenue goals and marketing OKRs.
  • Own the execution of high-impact campaigns across diverse digital channels, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, content syndication, SEO, email, and webinars, focusing on engaging the right buyers at the right time.
  • Take ownership of content repurposing initiatives, transforming whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership into engaging webinars, social content, email sequences, and sales enablement materials.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated demand generation campaigns from conception to conversion, using data-driven insights to continuously improve ROI and budget allocation decisions.
  • Act as a strategic bridge, collaborating seamlessly across global marketing, regional teams, sales, and creative studio to ensure alignment on goals, messaging, and successful lead handoff processes.

Who you are

We're looking for an individual who embodies our "Keep it Simple" approach by cutting through complexity to deliver clear, impactful campaigns, and who thrives on "Telling It Like It Is" to drive continuous improvement. You're analytical, results-driven, and intrinsically curious about solving customer challenges.

  • 8+ years of hands-on demand generation experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with a strong preference for a fintech/financial services background;
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable pipeline growth and revenue impact through full-funnel demand generation campaigns;
  • Expertise in content repurposing techniques and content marketing strategy, knowing how to transform single pieces of content into multiple high-impact formats;
  • Proficiency with modern marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot), CRM systems (Salesforce), and advanced marketing analytics tools (e.g., 6Sense, GA4, PowerBI);
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs and drive cross-functional alignment;
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities – you can develop the vision and roll up your sleeves to make it happen;
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of juggling multiple campaigns while maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines;
  • A data-driven mindset that continuously optimizes for better performance, leveraging funnel analysis and conversion optimization;
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and copywriting abilities to craft compelling messaging that resonates with enterprise audiences;
  • Adaptable and creative, thriving in a fast-paced environment and unafraid to try new approaches, always seeking to "Raise the Bar"
