Over de functie

As an Operations Business Controller, you’ll be the financial partner and advisor to our Operations and Formula managers. Your primary responsibility is to drive performance management by delivering detailed financial analyses and strategic insights that help our parks to reach their full potential. You work closely with a range of departments, including Operations, Formula Management, Revenue Management, and the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC), all to collaborate and ensure a comprehensive approach to optimization.

You also play a vital role in developing business cases that support strategic decision-making and long-term growth. To thrive in this role you have to go further than numbers, spending time on site to gain a deep understanding of daily challenges and opportunities. This hands-on approach ensures that your financial strategies are practical, impactful, and grounded in the realities of the business.

Dit ga je doen

By analyzing financial results and key performance indicators, you create a clear understanding of park and formula performance, delivering actionable recommendations. Working together with your colleagues in the operations business control team, you contribute to achieving financial objectives and optimizing operational performance. You are responsible for:

  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and review monthly financial reports, collaborating with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

  • Business Case Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive business cases for new initiatives, investments, and operational improvements.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial results and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve performance.

  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization to align financial strategies with operational realities, visiting parks regularly to stay connected to on-the-ground activities.

In this role, you report to the Operations Finance Manager. Your workplace will be our new office in Amsterdam. Working from home is an option, but we also expect you to work from the office or parks three days per week to foster collaboration.
