Who we are

We are an IB continuum school offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). We are a community of around 1100 students and 185 staff members from all over the world. ISU is a member of the Dutch International Schools (DIS), a group of government-subsidised schools providing internationally oriented primary and/or secondary education. As such, ISU is part of two collaborating school boards, SPOUtrecht (primary) and Nuovo Scholen (secondary).

Vacancy

The International School Utrecht is looking to recruit an enthusiastic International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Visual Arts teacher.

Qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Associated degree in Visual Arts
• For a permanent contract: Fully qualified teacher status to teach all year groups in secondary education and in accordance with the standards required by the Dutch education authorities (DUO)
• Experience teaching IB MYP is preferred
• A minimum of three years’ classroom experience

• Be culturally competent with an internationally minded attitude
• Native/near-native level spoken and written English language
