Sustainable Finance Internship

The main role of the Sustainable Finance Intern is to support the reporting team, composed of ESG and finance professionals in the annual integrated reporting process. You will assist in the preparation of our Integrated Report, CSRD Report (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and EU taxonomy statement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on creating a new Integrated report with key internal business stakeholders
• Work on understanding and applying CSRD and IFRS S1 and S2
• Collect, analyze and interpret integrated reporting data
• Support the implementation of our company-wide EU taxonomy reporting
• Participate in all other aspects of our integrated reporting process
• Assist with preparation of documentation and needed support for the group audit
• Assist with creation of technical accounting memos to support positions taken in the integrated report

Qualifications / skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in finance, accounting, sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainable finance, corporate reporting and ESG principles
• Familiarity with CSRD guidelines and EU Taxonomy Regulation is a plus
• Fluent in English
• To be eligible for an internship at citizenM, you must be enrolled in a study program as a student during this period. The internship suits the purposes of a learning experience.
