About the role:

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will define, implement and maintain solution architecture covering product, software and service offering. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate complex business needs into clear, functional, and technical solutions. Your expertise will drive the design of scalable, secure, IT architectures that support our strategic goals. In this role, you will not only define technical roadmaps but also ensure seamless documentation of IT processes and workflows, fostering alignment and efficiency across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall solution architecture definition, implementation and delivery:

• Defines, documents and maintains solution requirements based on consumer and business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications
• Selects best solution architecture and orchestrates development, testing and deployment; creates validation and test plans and supervises execution
• Develops and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT architecture, processes, and workflows.
• Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensures effective use of solution platforms and continuously tracks architecture and design health metrics to evolve the architectural roadmap.
• Sets up the collaboration framework, supports contracting and create prototypes. Partners with enterprise architects to validate designs, assess risks, and manage technical debt.
• Manages interdependencies in components, features and functionalities, builds and maintains solution roadmap; supports backlog definition and implementation
• Evaluates existing solutions and optimizes cost/ performance to deliver overall solution
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in IT technologies, bringing best practices into the organization.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

Your expertise in IT architecture principles, enterprise platforms, and scalable system design enables you to translate business requirements into practical, future-proof solutions. You have hands-on experience with business applications (preferably SAP), cloud technologies, and modern integration patterns. Your ability to develop and maintain clear architectural documentation ensures alignment across teams. With a strategic mindset, you balance innovation with business objectives, leveraging strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to drive efficiency. Passionate about emerging trends and best practices, you continuously seek ways to enhance our technology landscape and future-proof our solutions.

• Min. 7 years experience in industrial engineering (Mechanics/Electronics/ Mechatronics/…)
• Minimum HBO (or local equivalent) in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/ Mechatronics/Software/…); Bachelor or Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience with integrated solutions development (IT architecture principles, enterprise platforms, and scalable system design) preferred.
• Knowledge in SAFe/Agile, MBSE
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
