What exciting things are you going to do?

As Social Media Tech Specialist, you are responsible for the creation and execution of our strategy, one that you will play a big role in and will partially shape with your manager. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the coordination and creation of content to be used on various channels, like Instagram, TikTok, Twitch and YouTube. You will not only create and edit the content but will also act in our content as one of the faces of MediaMarkt. Content items you can think of are: Tech News, Unboxings, Tips and Tricks, Life Hacks and Comparisons.

Furthermore you will be responsible for the following:

• From creation, to editing videos and images, all the way to making sure it’s published in the right way for each social platform: you have all the skills needed to make content for MediaMarkt and its partners.
• Copywriting scripts, captions, intro texts and titles.
• The development of creative concepts and advise on creative concepts when necessary.
• Ensuring a consistent brand image, integrity and visual guide across all communication tools.
• Collaborating with internal requestors to ensure deadlines are met.
• Setting up project plannings for internal team use.
• Make sure to having synergy between the two countries.

Who are you?

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Having experience specifically with TikTok, Instagram and/or Twitch is a pre.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Hosting/Presenting, Image & Video Editing (Adobe) and Writing.
• A basic understanding of SEO and social media advertising is a pre.
• Excellent in Dutch, proficient in English.
• Proactive, energetic, open minded, no nonsense team player.
• Always up to date on the latest trends in Tech.
• A specialized background in Gaming and/or Lifestyle is a pre.
