We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team in Kinderdijk and drive improvement projects across our production entities.

Job Description: As a Product Owner Make (production, including manufacturing engineering), you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that the development team delivers high value changes in line with the business’ needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, including production managers, super users within the business, product owners in other functional areas and the development team to gather requirements, define robust solutions, and ensure an efficient production process supported by capable applications. In this role, you will also contribute to the regular life cycle management of our ERP platform in general and our efforts to upgrade to IFS Cloud in particular. You will help redefine impacted modules, specify changes for the development teams, support testing and coordinate updates to work instructions and training materials.

In addition, you will become part of a team of team leads who implement uniform processes and technology (primarily ERP and PLM) at our business units which still use different platforms. Your focus is to facilitate a smooth transition to our commonly shared platforms by comparing their existing production processes and applications and our corporate counterparts. Resulting in a list of deltas which are resolved through a collaboration between super users, architects and application managers. Finally, you will orchestrate training of end users in the new platforms for your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure clear understanding of product features and requirements.
  • Monitor and track product development progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality improvements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of the product backlog to reflect changing priorities and business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization (from board level to shop floor), providing regular updates on product development status and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of our corporate ERP/PLM solutions at business entities which still operate on alternative platforms.
  • Support business operations in case of complex technological issues in our corporate applications which cannot be resolved by the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the production industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
