Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career within a dynamic and international logistics environment? As a Junior Business Controller at Kuehne+Nagel, you will support our business units and overhead departments across the Netherlands. Working closely with senior business controllers and financial controllers, you’ll contribute to strategic and operational decision-making through insightful analysis, reporting, and project support. This is a varied and impactful role where your analytical mindset and financial acumen will help shape the future of our business.

How you create impact

• Support the timely delivery of monthly figures, forecasts, and budgets, triggering the right actions.
• Prepare and analyze P&L and KPI reports for specific units, sites, or departments.
• Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and progress reports.
• Provide data and insights to support contract negotiations with customers.
• Lead and support various financial and operational projects across business units.
• Conduct commercial and productivity analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret financial results and forecast future performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in reporting processes and financial transparency.

What we would like you to bring

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong Excel skills is a minimum and working knowledge of Tableau is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• A keen interest in understanding business operations and driving performance.
• Willingness to travel within the Netherlands to support local sites when needed.
