Senior Commercial Controller, Consumer Products Division

About the Role

As a Commercial Controller at L’Oréal Benelux, you will be a key business partner of commercial teams, providing and analyzing financial performance for channels & customers, influencing commercial teams to drive value in the business.

What will you do?

  • Lead budget, trends and actual financial results on your perimeter in line with Group’s standards, guidelines and deadlines.
  • Interpret financial results, anticipate, and identify risks and opportunities in your area of responsibility.
  • Influence with financial data strategic commercial decisions to drive value in the business.
  • Contribute actively to the Sales and Finance transformation journey by optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency and driving financial performance to create value for the organization.
  • Maximize financial systems usage and efficiency (SAP, BOOST, COMPASS) as well as leverage knowledge and intuition around systems.
  • Ensuring improvement and application of Internal Control procedures

Hard skills

For this position, we are looking for someone who meets at least the following requirements:

  • Holds a Master's degree in Finance
  • 5+ years of work experience in business controlling/auditing/financial management
  • Fluent in English and either Dutch or French, both spoken and written
  • Strong computer skills required (Advanced Excel a must), enhanced systems literacy
  • Proficient use of SAP and Power BI is a plus
  • Experience at a Big4 and/or in FMCG/retail is a plus
