About the team 👋

You’ll be joining the Global Accounts Team—a collaborative and results-driven team that values both high performance and a positive, supportive work environment. We lead the global rollout of SAM4, our predictive maintenance solution, by delivering tailored service across different countries, cultures, and industries. We work directly with customers to solve their operational challenges - ensuring SAM4 solves real problems. Every win is a team win, backed by ownership, trust, and strong collaboration.

Your challenge 🎯

As an Account Executive, you will drive the expansion of our footprint in the chemicals and heavy industry sectors. You will own the full sales cycle for complex, high-value opportunities and collaborate closely with product, delivery, and customer success teams to craft tailored, high-impact solutions.

You’ll be responsible not just for closing deals, but for building lasting partnerships. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring a junior team member and ensuring the health of your pipeline through active qualification, follow-up, and coordination.

Job requirements

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic industrial accounts, with a focus on the chemicals sector
  • Build deep relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Develop compelling business cases centered around energy savings, uptime, and ROI
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs
  • Represent Samotics at industry conferences and events
  • Coach and collaborate with junior team members to maintain an active and high-quality pipeline

What You'll Bring ⭐

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in industrial B2B environments
  • Proven success in consultative selling, with experience in complex six-figure sales cycles
  • Strong technical curiosity and affinity with hybrid hardware-software solutions
  • Full professional fluency in English; additional languages (German, Dutch, French) are a plus
  • Previously having sold into large scale industrial companies specifically in chemicals would be considered a benefit
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently driving commercial results
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events
