How do you make our customers happy?

By spotting and committing international e-commerce partners who truly enrich our assortment and offer 13.7 million customers more choices. Together with 47,000 selling partners, we already showcase 41 million great items, with approximately 60% sold through our partners. In this role, you focus on building warm relationships with new international parties that further strengthen our platform. With your cultural sensitivity, communication skills, and healthy persistence, you help onboard the right international partners. The result? A richer assortment that genuinely delights our customers.

What you'll do as International New Business Developer

As a member of the International New Business Development team, part of International & Integrators, you and your enthusiastic colleagues expand our international partner network. You combine your market knowledge with personal outreach to spot and approach the right potential European partners. Thanks to a mix of natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and enviable tenacity, you forge meaningful connections.

You guide partners through the entire journey—from first introduction (hi!) to successful integration on our platform. By working intensively with internal partner teams, you ensure new partners feel welcome and grow quickly. Experienced colleagues will bring you up to speed on the international market, enabling you to develop into an International New Business Developer who knows how to engage partners effectively. As a natural connector, you help partners discover how they can best align with our unique platform culture and socially relevant brand values. Your key responsibilities:

  • Research the European market and identify promising partners that (bene)fit our platform
  • Build relationships with potential partners through personal conversations and commit partners by leveraging consultative selling techniques
  • Support partners during their onboarding and first steps on the platform
  • Warmly and effectively hand over partners to our account managers
  • Learn from experienced team members about international business development trends
  • Contribute ideas for improving commercial processes and ways of working based on your unique experiences with new partners so that we can work more efficiently as a team
  • Combine strong communication skills with formidable powers of persuasiveness and persistence to maximize your impact

You combine 3+ years of commercial experience with a keen interest in diverse cultures and markets. You have experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in an international context. You’re a good listener who is genuinely interested in partners’ unique stories and needs. You communicate clearly and easily build trust with people from different cultures. Persuasiveness and persistence are your most powerful assets.
