Manager Media & Digital Marketing, Utrecht

In this challenging role you’ll be responsible for the digital and media strategy in the Dutch and Belgium markets. You’ll be working alongside brand marketing teams and you will lead in developing and executing best-in-class media and digital plans which are aligned with our (local) brand strategies. You will manage relationships with media, creative and digital agencies. Across the full consumer journey you will optimize our spends and activities through data analytics. Moreover you will spearhead media and digital innovation projects and integrate efforts between the in-house agency, The Barn, and local media & digital specialists. More in detail you’re responsible for:

  • Driving overall media strategies for all brands across full consumer journey touchpoints;
  • Driving partnerships with our media agency Dentsu, local publishers and Retail Media vendors;
  • Develop social media strategies for our local brands including content development and execution, community management, and social listening;
  • Managing the ongoing development and prioritization process for our owned channels and websites;
  • Driving step change media/digital projects, such as Arla Food Inspiration, AI Roadmap;
  • Ensure a continuous learning loop for all touchpoints by driving evaluations, campaign tracking, test & learn activities and marketing mix modeling projects;
  • Implementation of global search strategy;
  • Driving local consumer dialogue department, ensuring timely handing of consumer complaints and constantly modernizing our platforms;
  • Manage a team of 4 direct reports who are responsible for different digital and media disciplines and dotted line manager for 2 media buyers within The Barn.

Your profile

You’re passionate about Media & Digital Marketing. You have a business related degree and you have extensive management experience, gained in an FMCG company. You’re used to working in an international environment and are excellent in stakeholder management. Also, you are fluent in English and preferably Dutch (written and spoken). Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong collaboration skills within a matrixed cross-border environment;
  • A positive and broad network internally and externally;
  • A scale mindset – leveraging the full Arla organizational model to achieve local goals;
  • Strong people management skills;
  • The ability to lead and role model change;
  • Strong leadership competencies. Resilient and able to overcome challenges. Able to influence others and to build strong relationships.
