Over de functie

As a Lead Backend Developer, you’ll be at the heart of our digital ecosystem, designing and maintaining reliable, high-performance server-side applications using .NET (C#) and Node.js. Your work ensures that our systems are not only robust and efficient, but also ready to scale with the growing demands of our business. From building APIs to handling complex data interactions, you’ll play a vital role in creating the foundation for smooth and responsive user experiences.

You’ll be responsible for developing RESTful APIs and backend services that support web platforms and integrations across the organization. A key focus will be the integration with Sitecore CMS, enabling dynamic content delivery and advanced personalization across digital channels. Working closely with frontend developers, you’ll ensure that backend and frontend systems communicate seamlessly, delivering consistent and high-quality user experiences.

In addition to building backend functionality, you’ll manage and optimize data flows using technologies like SQL Server and MongoDB, ensuring fast and reliable access to the data that drives our applications. You’ll apply industry best practices in coding, testing, and documentation, helping to create a clean, maintainable, and future-ready codebase.

• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and stability issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and propose solutions to improve system architecture.

Dit ben jij

• 5-8 years of backend development experience with a strong command of .NET and Node.js.
• Experience integrating with Sitecore CMS, including understanding of Sitecore APIs and architecture.
• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and deployment tools.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Sitecore Headless architecture and Sitecore JSS.

A full-time employment contract at Landal consists of a 38-hour workweek, equivalent to a 5-day workweek. If you have a part-time contract, your salary and vacation days will be calculated proportionally.
