Make an Impact as an Enterprise Planner

As an Enterprise Planner, you play a key coordinating role and work closely with various departments. You are part of one of our Customer Focus Teams, which includes different disciplines such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Production. Each team member has their own area of expertise, and your responsibility is to ensure customer deliveries are made according to the agreed terms. You are the primary point of contact for the customer and frequently collaborate with internal colleagues. For example, you work with Procurement to assess material availability for order production, with Engineering to discuss the availability of technical information, and with the Production Planner and Unit Manager to align on the required production capacity.

If, unfortunately, we are unable to meet the agreed commitments, you will work with the team to find a suitable solution for the customer. You keep the customer informed in a timely manner about the progress of the orders and regularly visit them to better understand their needs and challenges.

You also play an important role in optimizing our logistics processes, leading improvement meetings and updating the KPI’s. You make improvement proposals to the customer, production and procurement.

This is what you bring the team

• A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Logistics, (Technical) Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management;
• Strong communication skills and a confident attitude;
• Creative in finding solutions, with a practical and entrepreneurial mindset;
• Solid knowledge and experience with MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Full-time availability.

Your daily responsibilities include

As an Enterprise Planner at Neways Leeuwarden, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Assessing, confirming, and maintaining forecasts from various customers;
• Planning sales orders based on material availability, capacity, and customer demand;
• Translating the production plan into a properly aligned schedule of sales orders;
• Identify shortages in (non-released) production orders; assessing, issuing targeted actions, and coordinating follow-up;
• Performing analyses related to delivery performance, quality, etc.;
• Co-responsible for distribution resource planning to our production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Malaysia and China;
• Setting and maintaining logistical parameters.
