Digital Assets Trader

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Digital Assets Trader to join our growing Trading team in Amsterdam.

As a Digital Assets Trader at Flow Traders, you will be part of a highly innovative and successful global team that trades on various cryptocurrency exchanges with a focus on ensuring around the clock liquidity within these markets. In this role, you will be tasked with implementing successful strategies in cooperation with the global team that will increase the overall profitability of our Digital Assets business, part of Flow Traders’ strategic growth plan.

What you will do

• Generate and implement new trading strategies on various cryptocurrency exchanges taking into consideration potential risks
• Research and back test various strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and leverage global team expertise to make informed trading decisions
• Manage trading positions and ensure essential information is captured accurately
• Explore the international cryptocurrency market to identify new opportunities and products that align with Flow Traders’ growth strategy
• Work with the global Digital Assets team and share relevant insights related to market developments that improve our trading activities
• Focus on technical improvements on the desk while also automating various daily processes

What you need to succeed

• Minimum 2 years of experience in market making on various cryptocurrency exchanges
• University Degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, or related
• In depth knowledge in trading digital assets with experience trading on global exchanges is mandatory
• Innovative and creative personality with a keen passion for the financial markets
• Competitive with a goal oriented mindset
• Keen interest in quantitative systems

• Does Flow Traders have experience with hiring talent from abroad?

  Flow Traders has been hiring international talent for many years. We are very familiar with the relocation process for individuals and their families.

• Do I need experience in financial markets to apply for a role at Flow Traders?

  This can vary depending on the role. For internships and graduate positions we focus more on your interest in the financial markets, rather than commercial experience. For more senior positions experience in the financial industry is preferred.

• Does Flow Traders provide relocation assistance?

  This depends on the location you will be joining, Flow Traders will assist with various aspects (flights, visa application, accommodation at the start of your employment etc).

• Does Flow Traders provide visa sponsorship?

  We are open to providing visa sponsorship to international candidates (and their partner/children). We do not provide visa sponsorship for our interns.
