Scrum Master – Area Foundation

• Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,381 and EUR 7,687 (scale 10) for a 36 hour week

As a Scrum Master within Area Foundation, you will guide two squads in delivering high-value digital solutions. You play a key role in fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and enabling operational excellence. You will contribute to one of the largest Agile transformations in Europe, working closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and fellow Scrum Masters.

You will help your squads grow in Agile maturity, support the Product Owner in backlog and stakeholder management, and ensure alignment with the Simplify@Scale (S@S) framework. You’ll also contribute to the broader Agile community within Rabobank by mentoring peers and participating in guilds and Area-level initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Coach and guide two squads to become high-performing, self-organizing teams.
• Facilitate Agile rituals and foster a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, roadmap planning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Area leadership to raise Agile maturity across the organization.
• Promote transparency, predictability, and delivery excellence using tools like Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to Rabobank’s Agile transformation by coaching, consulting, and leading change initiatives.

Your Profile

You are a passionate Agile professional with a strong coaching mindset and a drive to make a difference. You bring energy, structure, and empathy to your teams and know how to navigate complex environments.

You bring:

• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (preferably Simplify@Scale or LeSS).
• Proven ability to coach teams, Product Owners, and leadership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in backend development squads, Centres of Excellence, or support/consultancy teams.
• A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
• PSM or SAFe certification.
