We’re now hiring a Named Account Executive to join our fast-growing Public Sector team, focused on supporting Local Government organizations in the Netherlands. Your Role: Partner with Local Government to Build the Future of Public Services
As a Named Account Executive, you’ll work closely with a defined portfolio of local government accounts, helping them harness Salesforce solutions to modernize how they engage with citizens, manage services, and operate efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Owning and growing strategic relationships with named local government accounts across the Netherlands.
Identifying and closing new business opportunities, driving pipeline development, and managing complex sales cycles.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by municipalities and regional authorities—and aligning Salesforce solutions to meet their evolving needs.
Collaborating with internal teams, including Solution Engineering, Industry Strategy, and Customer Success, to co-create transformation programs.
Representing Salesforce at key public sector events and industry forums, becoming a trusted advisor in the local government space.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in enterprise software sales, ideally with public sector or local government clients.
Strong knowledge of public sector challenges in the Netherlands, especially around digital service delivery, citizen engagement, and data-driven decision making.
Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM, data, or cloud-based technologies.
Excellent relationship-building skills at senior stakeholder level (CIO, CTO, Department Heads).
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for public sector innovation.
