We are a young and ambitious organization that offers investors (including banks, insurers and asset managers) at home and abroad the opportunity to build a Dutch mortgage portfolio that is composed by DMPM according to the specific wishes of the investor. We are now heading towards €15 billion under management and are continuing to grow. We achieve this by bridging the gap between investors and consumers, with DMPM acting as lender to the consumer and as portfolio manager to the investor.

DMPM is part of a unique group of organizations (The Blauwtrust Groep) around the entire Dutch mortgage chain, from consumers to providers. The Blauwtrust Group has a growth ambition, with the goal of serving our customers in the best way possible.

What will you do?

As Compliance Officer you are the point of contact in the field of Compliance within Blauwtrust Groep especially for the business unit Dutch Mortgage Portfolio Management (DMPM), its clients and regulators (AFM & AP). You actively contribute to increasing knowledge and awareness in the field of compliance. You advise the business in the translation and implementation of laws and regulations. Furthermore, you develop and maintain policies, procedures and guidelines / instructions and monitor the organization for compliance. As Compliance Officer you are specifically familiar with topics such as duty of care, customer due diligence and privacy regulations.

In short, as Compliance Officer

• You monitor the progress of the annual compliance plan and make adjustments where necessary.
• You are responsible for the compliance policy and its implementation.
• You are responsible for the further professionalization of the Compliance Framework and the verification of compliance.
• You supervise compliance risk analyses on specific subjects (new products, changes in the organization, large projects, etc.).
• Compile and discuss compliance reports within all relevant layers of the organization and customers.
• Organize compliance meetings with clients where various compliance issues are discussed.
• Maintains the processing register and facilitates DPIAs and their review.

You will be part of the group-wide Compliance team. In this team you work together with 8 other colleagues spread across the different group units.

• Are you preferably in possession of a completed compliance education (VU, NCI, NIBE-SVV or similar)
• Do you have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position and have knowledge of the mortgage process
• Do you have knowledge and experience with WFT, Wwft, AVG and other regulations in the financial sector
• Affinity for privacy, CIPP-E is an advantage
• Good command of the Dutch and English language
