Supply Chain Internship: Impact assessment of demand changes

Introduction

The Planning & Delivery (P&D) sector brings together all planning activities across ASML. The organization collaborates closely with business lines and sectors to connect requirements and priorities into an integrated business plan, while remaining clear on bottlenecks and real constraints to remain both ambitious and realistic in its business planning. This allows P&D to become the unbiased, trusted partner that helps ASML to remain both ambitious and realistic in its business planning and capacity, and increases our combined solution power to drive improvements.

Your assignment

For this assignment it's expected you will develop an impact assessment of demand changes. Any demand change (CRD, probability, allocation) has multiple effects in the chain, such as impact on production, Planning & Delivery resources or on install resources and installation plans.

During this internship, you will:

  • Identify and quantify all impacted parameters of demand changes;
  • Gain insights in the impact of these changes by interviewing relevant stakeholders;
  • Propose a model on how to implement a demand change; what are the criteria to assess a demand change, and how to act accordingly.

Your profile

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a HBO/bachelor or master student in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or something related;
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Preferably have an affinity with Demand Planning;
  • Have great stakeholder management, social and presentation skills;
  • Are process oriented and have great analytical skills.

This is a HBO/bachelor graduation project or a master internship/graduation project for minimum 6 months, 3 to 4 days per week (wherefrom 2 days on-site). The starting date of this internship is as of September 2025 onwards.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
