The past one and a half years have been an incredible start to my career. I have worked on projects in Romania, Bulgaria and India, creating beaches and expanding ports, while also gaining insights into the commercial department in Rotterdam. It has been a journey through diverse environments and unique challenges, meeting people from all over the world. Exploring so many aspects of a multinational organization has been a true adventure and an opportunity I would highly recommend to anyone.

My traineeship at Van Oord has been an exciting journey of growth and exploration. I had the chance to work on Founding the Future initiative driving ERP innovation, some sustainability initiatives, and also contribute to one of the UK’s largest offshore wind projects. Seeing these projects come to life beyond the desk was inspiring and gave me a deeper understanding of our impact.
