As a Production Planner, you are the crucial link between production and logistics. You ensure production orders are executed efficiently and on time, continuously balancing priorities, deadlines, and available capacity.

You will work closely with business planners, team leaders, and the production manager. Thanks to your planning, the production process runs smoothly and customers are served on time. You play an essential role in improving processes. Do you spot a bottleneck? You'll quickly analyze the situation, think in terms of solutions, and make necessary adjustments.

What You Bring to the Team

You are a driven starter or young professional who likes to take the lead. You work in a structured way, remain calm under pressure, and always keep the overview—even when priorities shift suddenly. You communicate clearly and can easily switch between colleagues at different levels.

Thanks to your critical mindset and knowledge of production processes, you quickly recognize what is and isn’t feasible. You don't hesitate to flag issues and propose practical solutions. You act proactively and are not afraid to escalate when necessary.

We also ask for:

• A bachelor’s degree (HBO), preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Economics, or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience and proven affinity with production planning
• A hands-on mentality and attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Strong communication skills (Dutch and English) and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
• Resilience: you stay calm and focused, even under pressure

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Aligning priorities with business planners and team leaders
• Scheduling and adjusting production orders
• Identifying and resolving production bottlenecks
• Updating the production schedule and informing relevant departments
• Contributing to improvement projects within production planning
• Monitoring KPIs and participating in process optimization
• Coordinating escalation issues related to changing customer demands or disruptions
