Job description

We’re reimagining surgical care—PreOp, Intra Op and Post Op—by combining the power of AI, XR, and real-time data to create immersive, intelligent, and intuitive tools for clinicians.

As a Sr Staff UI/UX Designer, you'll be at the forefront of designing cutting-edge experiences across iOS, VisionOS (Apple Vision Pro), web, and spatial computing environments. From surgical planning to intraoperative tools to clinician dashboards—you'll design for moments that save lives.

What You Will Do:

• Design seamless, user-centered experiences across platforms like iOS, VisionOS, web, and XR.
• Build interactive prototypes and motion-rich 3D mockups that communicate complex ideas with clarity.
• Translate AI insights and surgical data into intuitive, accessible interfaces for clinicians.
• Own the full design process—ideation, interaction, high-fidelity design, prototyping, and developer collaboration. Work side-by-side with engineers, surgeons, and researchers to ensure your designs are both technically feasible and medically impactful.
• Develop and evolve a robust multi-platform design system that scales beautifully across apps.
• Integrate insights from field research, OR observations, and usability testing into thoughtful design iterations.

What You Need:

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Have 5+ years of UI/UX experience, especially in medtech, XR, or other complex systems.
• Are a Figma expert with a passion for creating and evolving design systems.
• Prototype like a pro in Figma, Principle, or similar tools—and know how to bring motion to life.
• Understand and love working with data visualization and translating clinical complexity into simplicity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams and understand how to design for regulated healthcare products.

Preferred:

• Have experience with 3D tools like Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar (for spatial/UI XR work).
• You’re comfortable handing off designs with SwiftUI, Unity/C#, or HTML/CSS in mind.
