You and your job

As a DevOps engineer, you bring a positive, can-do mindset to your work and are passionate about IT. You possess excellent hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions with PEGA alongside a strong interest and motivation in expanding your PEGA expertise in PEGA decisioning solutions. As a valued member of an agile DevOps squad, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end features for our stakeholders. In this role as a senior PEGA engineer, you will be responsible for the development some PEGA projects. Your involvement extents the entire development life cycle, from refining user stories to monitoring in production environment. As a senior engineer you will also be coaching and mentoring the other engineers in the team, next to that you will be the spokesperson in case of technical cases for our stakeholders and our business. Within the squad, we are responsible for the Rabobank implementation of Pega 1:1 Operations Manager. This application allows our business users to create and maintain their own communication in the form of Actions, that will be available in the Pega Customer Decision Hub. The goal is to provide a solution in which our business users can independently manage all their marketing and communication needs and bring them to production without the interference of our DevOps squad. Tools we use that support this goal include Revision Management, Pega Deployment Manager and Pega Unit Test Automation.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include developing and advancing the application, ensuring scalability and future-proofing to accommodate changing business and technological needs.

• You take responsibility for your solution end-to-end, from defining requirements to providing production support.
• Your approach to problem-solving is collaborative and team-oriented. You bring a positive and energetic attitude to the team and assist/coach junior team members when needed.
• You work closely with the team of engineers, product owner and business stakeholders to ensure that the product deliverables and business objectives are achieved.

You and your talent

• A relevant Bachelor or Master degree
• Minimum of 7 years working experience with PEGA development
• Experience in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP and File services.
• Experience on PEGA v8.x and above
• Have great analytical skills and have a conceptual / architectural understanding
• Good communication skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
• Experience in coaching and mentoring a team.
• Minimum PEGA CSSA & preferably PEGA CLSA
• PEGA Decisioning certification & PEGA 1:1 Operations Manager experience is a plus
