What will you do:

• Take a leadership role in initiating, planning, managing, and executing analytical chemistry and microbiology workflows and technical support efforts for internal and external customers
• Ensure optimum operational performance of the laboratory including prioritization of work to align with business priorities, justification of capital investment, and ownership of quality systems and deliverables
• Promote talent development throughout the organization
• Maintain a culture of safety in the laboratory and ensure safety policies and procedures are followed

Your Profile

• Ph.D. degree in chemistry, microbiology or related science
• 5+ years of laboratory management experience is essential
• Experience leading a team performing routine tasks, whilst having an innovative mindset
• Fluent English with good written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills, conscientious, strategic thinker, proactive with an ability to communicate and cooperate independently, to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
