In this dynamic role, you’ll spearhead the creation and rollout of cutting-edge Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) systems and programs, working hand-in-hand with our Corporate Sustainability and Health & Safety teams. As the EHS Manager, you’ll collaborate with a diverse network of Businesses, Functions, Markets, and multi-modality factories, building a thriving EHS community that sets the standard for excellence. You’ll lead a talented team of EHS specialists, empowering them to elevate site performance and oversee external contractors with confidence. Your role:

• Strategic and Tactical Planning: Develop and implement site-specific EHS strategies, policies and procedures in line with industry standards and corporate goals.

• Sustainability Programs: Manage initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, biodiversity and sustainable sourcing.

• Compliance & Risk: Anticipate and monitor regulatory compliance and technological developments, advise management on risks and opportunities. Liaise and provide required documentation and reports to regulatory agencies. Conduct risk assessment and implement appropriate risk controls.

• Incident and Crisis Management: Lead investigations, reporting and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage internal and external stakeholders to enhance EHS awareness and drive business ownership to build a positive safety culture and promote sustainability initiatives.

• Performance Measurement: Track and report Sustainability and EHS performance to leadership, conduct data trending and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

• Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs on EHS practices and policies, fostering a shared responsibility culture.

• Certification and Standards: Achieving and maintaining environmental & occupational health & safety certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's: Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or equivalent.

• 10+ years of EHS experience and experience with managing a team.

• Proven track record in developing EHS programs and strategies.

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.

• Regulatory Compliance and EHS Risk Management.

• KPI Monitoring, Reporting and Data Analysis.

• Stakeholder Management.

• EHS competence management.

• Leadership and Team Engagement.

• Promoting accountability and execution.

• Change Management.
