We have a unique opportunity for a dual role in our Rotterdam office: are you our future Junior Engineer for Offshore Renewable Projects? Your main role will be a subsea cable engineer applying your technical knowledge to our green advisory projects. With your passion for IT, programming, and AI, you will be responsible for making sure our global IT infrastructure runs smoothly. The balance between the two roles will depend on personal interest and needs. We are a global operating company with four offices (Rotterdam, Darlington, Copenhagen, and Berlin) and a diverse, multicultural team. Anchoring Your Impact:

Junior Engineer

• You provide top-notch technical engineering, and you have an impact on our worldwide renewable projects, contributing to the success of our clients.
• You apply your academic engineering background to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, contributing to the global energy transition.
• You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, both remotely and at client offices, to ensure seamless project execution.
• You will be challenged to improve and expand our advisory services with your programming skills.

IT Engineer

• You manage the Primo Marine IT infrastructure, and you are the linking pin to our software suppliers.
• You proactively improve and modernize our IT infrastructure for all our offices.
• You stay one step ahead. You spot what needs to be done before anyone asks, solve problems before they arise, and keep things running smoothly.

You’ve got it:

• A master’s degree in engineering, and you have an affinity with offshore renewable projects.
• Comfortable with direct client/supplier facing communication.
• Affinity with IT infrastructure.
• Experienced in scripting/programming (preferably in Matlab or Python).
• Fluency in Dutch and English. Other languages are a plus.
• Available for 32-40 hours per week.
• Quick on your feet, independent, and know how to get your work done in a timely manner.
• Discreet, responsible, and have a great eye for detail.
