This is how you make impact as Project Buyer

As a Project Buyer, you are part of project teams executing the NPI process for our customers. These customers operate in the semiconductor and healthcare sectors and require complex PCBAs and modules.

In our international high-tech, low-volume, high-mix production environment, you serve as the key link between projects and procurement. You oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely availability of required products while keeping a close eye on lead time, cost, and quality.

This is what you bring to the team:

  • A hands-on / can-do mentality
  • Strong communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to switch quickly between different stakeholders
  • A completed bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level)
  • Procurement experience in a production or project environment
  • Affinity with or experience in a technical environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Support sales with the RFQ process towards our customer, your role is to get the correct pricing and conditions from our existing and new suppliers in order to be able to win the quote for Neways
  • Ensure timely availability of material and services to deliver first products to customers
  • Setup systems with pricing and parameters in order to secure a smooth transfer to the running business operations.
  • Coordination with stakeholders like sales, engineering, quality
