Are you an experienced professional with a passion for team leadership, raw material specification management, data quality, and stakeholder collaboration? Do you want to play a crucial role in ensuring micro-ingredient raw materials are fit for purpose for our SN projects? Then this Snr Team Lead Specifications role, being part of the Process & Technology team, is for you!

• You will co-build and drive the Global RM specification strategy & wows, inclusive Global/local China strategy & wows.
• You will be responsible for a team of 12 highly motivated international professionals managed by 3 Team leaders.
• Together with your three Team Leaders, you will ensure security of supply, food safety, and quality of micro-ingredients for all SN projects & products as well as drive and co-build the Micro Ingredient strategies and Specifications way of working.
• Alongside this, you will also be responsible for ensuring the Global spec team data quality and our RM Specs “One Source of truth”.

Your Responsibilities

• Co-build P&T strategy as a key member of the P&T Management team.
• Co-build & lead Global RM specifications strategy and wows.
• Co-build & drive Micro ingredient & China strategy & supplier relations to meet business needs and ensure supply security.
• As the only snr RM Spec team leaders based in Utrecht, play a key role in supporting optimal integration of the teams across different locations.
• Build, evolve & maintain strong stakeholder communication across procurement, QFS, Supplier Quality Management, IDDC, IRO, OPs and other relevant networks.
• Strong & frequent collaboration with key business partners in SN Inno/Reno/F4G projects, especially with IDDC & IRO to ensure raw material discussions are timely to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects.
• Drive & collaborate on Data Quality across SN to ensure RM Specifications “One Source of Truth” is Right by Design and the only source of truth used across the business.
• Drive efficient and agile ways of working both within and across teams.
• Lead team management activities, including resource planning and talent development.

About you

• At least a Bachelor/master’s degree in food science, technology, quality, or a related field.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in an R&I environment or a similar technical role (product & ingredient experience is a plus).
• Proven track record of successful team leadership & project management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills with the ability to drive key business partner collaborations and stakeholder management across different teams & levels.
• Driven & resilient to face and overcome challenges in a dynamic and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Proactive mindset to bring improvements and solutions.
