This industry has enormous growth potential because only 15% of the total market currently invests in anti-money laundering software. ComplianceWise aims to become the largest player in this industry in the Netherlands and Europe within a few years.

About the position

Our goal is to win the Dutch accountancy market in the short term. We aim to more than double our revenue in the coming years. We already have a product that fits our target group perfectly, but we must keep improving and innovating to maintain that fit and leading position. The client-facing part of our application should be appealing and easy to understand. As a Front-end Developer, you will work with the team to deliver a high-quality user experience. You will report to the Lead Developer and work in a cross-functional team, pairing up and sparring with Backend and Frontend Software Engineers and a QA Engineer.

Task and responsibilities

• Come up with UX proposals for new features
• Collaborate with the Frontend and Backend Engineers in the team to design new solutions and refactoring
• Develop new components and fix bugs
• Create and maintain unit tests
• Create and maintain the existing end-to-end tests and check the daily build for failures

Your profile

• Proficiency in Angular development and associated languages (Typescript) and testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, and Cypress)
• Knowledge about REST API concepts
• Understanding asynchronous programming concepts (e.g., promises and observables)
• Experience maintaining and debugging Frontend application code
• Experience writing HTML and CSS
