National Account Manager

National Account Manager, responsible for nurturing key strategic partnerships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and negotiating best-in-class business plans that drive market share. Collaborate closely with all brand teams to ensure a winning partnership across all.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Build credible and collaborative working relationships with your customer and cross-functional contacts.
  • Develop retailer-centric strategies for your customer; identify joint objectives and build business plans for mutual growth.
  • Influence future retailer initiatives and collaborations; ensure maximization of all available opportunities across all touchpoints.
  • Work with brand teams to identify additional retail opportunities.
  • Drive retail sell-out, grow market share, and manage your P&L down to GM for your category both in-store and online.
  • Take ownership of managing the strategy in your account.
  • Be seen as a leader within the wider team and develop the skills of more junior members of the team.
  • Stay informed on competitors’ activities and market trends to identify best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and create persuasive commercial proposals both internally and externally to drive your business forward.

WHO YOU ARE

You Have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment, FMCG preferred.
  • Drive and tenacity, with an ‘anything is possible’ attitude.
  • Strong negotiation skills, to look for win-win opportunities with our retail partners.
  • Strong influencing skills – required to demonstrate these both externally and internally.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating sound commercial arguments.
