Department

At Robeco, we operate with Job Profiles and Roles, providing flexibility in work responsibilities, hence the opportunity to develop knowledge, experiences & skills, clarity regarding possible career paths and increased adaptability and collaboration. Changes in Roles are determined collaboratively and consultatively in order to balance employee and company interests.

Position & Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Dynatrace Engineer with deep expertise in Dynatrace SaaS, MONACO, and CI/CD pipeline deployments using Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing observability solutions that align with our organizational goals for operational excellence and proactive monitoring.

While you will work independently to support and mentor delivery teams, your efforts will align with the broader observability strategy, overseen by the Observability Product Owner. You'll help teams set up auto-remediation, meaningful dashboards, and configure thresholds and alerts, ensuring that all work is aligned with the centralized vision. The ability to be a team player, contributing to the collective goals of the Dynatrace Agile teams, is just as important as your ability to work autonomously.

Your success in this role will hinge on your ability to communicate effectively, educate development teams, and ensure that observability best practices are consistently followed across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Dynatrace SaaS solutions, ensuring comprehensive observability across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Utilize MONACO (Management as Code) for configuration management and scaling observability.
  • Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate deployment of monitoring configurations and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define monitoring requirements and ensure alignment with business capabilities.
  • Develop tailored dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Enhance incident management processes by integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow for automated incident handling.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-powered observability practices, including anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
  • Contribute to the organization’s shift towards DevSecOps maturity by integrating observability into development workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members to maximize the value of Dynatrace tools and practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong expertise in Dynatrace SaaS, including setup, configuration, and advanced features.
  • Proficiency in MONACO for scalable and automated observability configurations.
  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments (Azure preferred), and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with integrating monitoring solutions with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to create meaningful dashboards and visualizations tailored to different stakeholder needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a strong preference.

Key Competencies:

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking: Ability to map complex dependencies and create clear solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work across teams and build consensus.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in navigating dynamic and complex operational environments.
  • Result-oriented: Focus on delivering high-impact outcomes aligned with business priorities.

All applications will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. An assessment and integrity test may be used in the selection procedure.
