Senior Technical Consultant – Healthcare Informatics Solutions

Job Description

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you are responsible for following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, test, maintain, and support hardware and software solutions.

You collaborate with a variety of customers across Europe to conceptualize, design, and optimize Philips solutions, with the goal of ensuring customer success.

Your role:

  • Scope, design, build, deploy, and/or integrate ICCA solutions.
  • Fulfill software implementation deliverables, such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration, and testing.
  • Analyze unique business, technical, and clinical customer requirements to design, build, and/or integrate the most appropriate solution.
  • Serve as a consultant, providing technical recommendations that best suit the customer’s environment based on their requirements.
  • Mentor and train customers to maintain their systems.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide proactive technical support.
  • Contribute to the collective learning of Philips by sharing knowledge globally and assessing repeatable processes that can be leveraged across multiple projects.
  • Practice strong configuration management and version control.
  • Execute activities in accordance with the Philips Excellence Process Framework.
  • Be a key member of the implementation project and/or service team, fostering collaboration through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise.
  • Drive continuous improvements in our implementation methodology and service offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Represent Philips professionally in both customer-facing and internal team situations.

The ICCA S&SD team working across Europe is a community of project managers, application consultants and technical consultants who collaborate closely with our customers to provide solutions in critical care.

You will report to the operation manager for UKI, Benelux & Nordics.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering). Holds relevant certifications and licenses.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and experience in healthcare is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English is a must, Dutch is good to have.
  • Willing to travel 10% - 20% of the time to customer meetings across Europe as needed.

This is a Field role. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
