Group Senior Treasury Analyst

In your role as a Senior Treasury Analyst, you report to the Group Treasury Manager. Together with your manager, you run our treasury operations and help us optimize liquidity, manage funding strategies, and support our global business goals.

This role places you at the heart of our organisation, interacting with a range of functions—Treasury, Controllers, Tax, Legal, Audit, and Business Finance. You’ll work on challenging and rewarding projects with visibility to senior management and exposure to our global businesses.

This is a hybrid role, based out of Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. You are invited to work on-site at the office a minimum of one day per week, preferably two. We support your home office set-up, travel costs, and provide flexibility regarding hybrid work.

Your key responsibilities

Cash and Liquidity Management:

• Oversee daily cash positions, fund disbursement accounts, and optimize group cash. Prepare and analyze cash forecasts to manage both short-term and long-term liquidity needs, ensuring sufficient funds for operations and strategic investments.

Bank Account and Relationship Management:

• Manage bank accounts, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations. Strengthen our banking relationships while maintaining proper internal controls.

Guarantee Portfolio Oversight:

• Administer and monitor bank guarantees, parental guarantees, and letters of comfort, aligning these with financial and risk management strategies.

Strategic Treasury Projects:

• Contribute to initiatives such as cash pool optimization, inter-company loan administration, and external borrowing arrangements to enhance our financial efficiency.

Treasury Systems Implementation:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of treasury management systems, ensuring smooth transaction processing and comprehensive reporting.

What you bring

• Demonstrated experience (3-5+ years) in treasury operations, cash management, or corporate finance in an international organisation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Solid understanding of banking, investments, and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong collaboration abilities, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., ACT, CFA, CTP) are a plus.

Additionally, you may have:

• Knowledge of treasury software and ERP systems i.e. Kyriba/SAP, BPC.
• Skills with the full suite of Microsoft Office products, including the extraction and transformation of data from ERP system.
